A lost love letter on tape. A micro radio drama based around a cassette tape found at a flea market intriguingly marked ‘private’. As audio voyeurs we are privy to the intimate thoughts and feelings of the gentle, halting and extremely self-conscious voice contained within. We were never the intended recipients of this heartfelt and personal message to Doris from - her friend? – her lover? We may never know, and yet the longing and pain of separation is tangible. It’s a condition we can all relate to but one that resonates particularly strongly at this precise moment in time.
