Françoise Hardy war als Sängerin und Schauspielerin eine stille Modeikone der 1960er Jahre, Muse von Yves Saint Laurent und Inspiration für Bob Dylan und Mick Jagger. Als Autorin hat sie Anfang 2015 ihr zweites Buch unter dem Titel "Avis non-autorisé..." herausgebracht.
Das Label Light In The Attic aus Seattle (das an der Wiederentdeckung von Sixto Rodriguez beteiligt war) hat nun die frühen Chansons von Francoise Hardy neu aufgelegt - auf CD und Vinyl. Was sie von vielen der französischen Popstars ihrer Zeit unterscheidet: Das meiste Songmaterial hat Françoise Hardy selbst komponiert. Die "Spielräume" stellen die markantesten Chansons aus diesem Frühwerk vor.
