For the ‘Rat der Republik’ wich was held by the ‘Wiener Festwochen’ at ‘Volkskundemuseum Vienna’, we designed a room wich supports this staged political happening and at the same time satirizes it. The cloudy skies over the beertent modeled room try to keep present what happenes in zones of crisis and war simultaniously to a self claimed political, high culture theatre festival in middle europe. We asked photographers, influencers, relatives and friends in countries claimed as crisis zones by the european comission to send us their realities. The written date, time and name of the photographer on the textile contextualises on the one hand and emphasises the urgency of our solidarity.
