No Greek talks before weekend referendum

Eurozone finance ministers have ruled out holding further bailout talks with Greece, until after Sunday's referendum, in which Greek voters will be asked whether to accept the latest offer put forward by Greece's creditors. Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is urging a no vote, a result that many analysts say will lead to Greece leaving the eurozone. The head of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde says she hopes the referendum will resolve the current crisis. “There is a democratic process underway, there is a referendum. The people are going to give their views about what they hope for the future. I hope the outcome is clear and indicates a path.”

Tunisia's government says 8 people have been arrested in connection with Friday's deadly attack at a beach hotel in the resort of Sousse. 38 people died in the attack most of them British tourists. Tunisian official Lazhar Akremi says the security forces are hunting two men, who are believed to have trained with the Sousse gunman in Libya.

Afghan mob killing verdicts overturned

A court in Afghanistan has overturned death sentences against four men, convicted in connection with the killing of a young woman in Kabul in March. 27 year old Farkhunda was attacked by a mob after being falsely accused of burning a copy of the Koran. US lawyer Kimberley Motley represented Farkhunda's family in the first trial. She says it's difficult to understand this latest court ruling. “There’s very strong evidence through video and through eyewitness testimony that justified the original sentences that were imposed on these men.”
