A US military aircraft collected the remains and brought them to a base in South Korea. John Zimmerlee’s father was one of more than 5,000 American servicemen who went missing in North Korea between 1950 and 1953. He says today's handover is a small step: "we estimate around 5,300 men were lost in North Korea and so 55 boxes is certainly a long way from that. But in addition to the remains we're hoping to get more information."
