Dusts Chambers is an interdisciplinary and continuous research endeavor exploring (in)visible relations and mediation structures in city ecosystems enabling our well being. The project attempts to exceed how we perceive, process, and understand the reality of human impact upon the environment by looking at one (in)visible element in the air - airborne dusts. The current pandemic revealed that airborne dust works as a carrier for many biological and chemical contaminants, including viruses. The aim of the project is to explore, construct, and spread new forms of knowledge; how individuals can collectively shape their environment by establishing experimental forms of public engagements that turn static spectators into active participants.
