Demokratie 2.18 - neue Verfassung für Österreich
Dies ist eine Initiative, um auf Basis eines bereits erarbeiteten Vorschlags (Begründung, konkreter Text und Erläuterung dazu) eine österreichische Bundesverfassung "für das Volk und durch das Volk" in die Wege zu leiten - den Vorschlag also zu diskutieren und weiter zu verbessern, bekannt zu machen und schließlich über eine immer breitere Unterstützung auch zu einer Umsetzung im Sinn einer Verfassungsreform zu bringen, so wie dies die heutige Bundesverfassung (B-VG) in Artikel 44 Abs. 3 vorsieht. Gemüsebau statt Raubbau
Wir sind die Gartenbauschule Großwilfersdorf in der Steiermark und bereiten Interessierte im 2. Bildungsweg in 6 Monaten auf die Facharbeiterprüfung Gemüsebau vor. Wir respektieren den Boden als unser höchstes Produktionsgut und begegnen auf vielerlei Weise dem Klimawandel und dem Naturschutz. Regionaler Gemüse- und Kräuteranbau bedeutet beispielsweise CO2-Speicherung in gesunden Böden, Direktvermarktung, Einsparung von LKW-Kilometern, Kontakt und Versorgung unserer Mitmenschen mit gesunden und heimischen Lebensmitteln. Wir sind Gärtner aus Leidenschaft und geben unser Know-How an junges Gemüse weiter!

Baumhilfe - Achtsamkeit für Straßenbäume
Die Baumhilfe engagiert sich für innerstädtische Straßenbäume. Die veränderten Umweltbedingungen gefährden diesen wichtigen Grünbestand. Die ehrenamtliche Initiative will Wissen über Stadtbäume vermitteln und Menschen animieren, selbst aktiv zum Erhalt der Bäume beizutragen - zum Beispiel mit Gießen. Von der Baumhilfe profitieren nicht nur die Bäume selbst, sondern auch die Menschen in der Stadt. EcoClipper - Sustainable Shipping & Travel
EcoClipper is a sail cargo company that plans to build a fleet of innovative sailing ships. These vessels will transport cargo, passengers and trainees on four shipping lines around the world. Currently, the team is working on a financial campaign to build the EcoClipper500 prototype, the first ship of the series. It will have space for 500 tonnes of cargo, as well as 12 passengers and 36 trainees. The ship will also be engineless to ensure maximum sustainability. Currently, maritime shipping accounts for over 900 million tonnes of C02 per year and is responsible for around 2.5% of global greenhouse gases emissions. Despite some attempts to curb these emissions, the industry has been slow to make any distinctive changes to how these vessels operate. For more sanitation solutions
The proposal of SOMOS ECUADOR aims to strengthen the technical and organizational capacities of the population to improve their conditions of access to sanitation, under criteria of equity and sustainability. According to the latest Ecuador census (2010), 46.4% of houses do not have sewerage and many municipalities do not treat the wastewater. The experience about ecological sanitation in the community of Chamanga, located on the north coast of Ecuador, is motivating because shows the value of promoting innovative solutions based on community management. We believe it is an experience that could be replicated and scaled up in order to generate a greater impact in other areas of the country, thereby reducing water pollution and facilitating access to adequate sanitation for low-income families. www.somosecuador.org

Youtopia / Plan B
Im Rahmen von „Youtopia / Plan B“ werden unterschiedlichste Menschen aus europäischen Ländern nach ihren utopischen Vorstellungen befragt. Meistens werden diese im Rahmen eines längeren, sehr persönlichen Gesprächs entwickelt. Das Interview und eine Präsentation des Ergebnisses werden gefilmt. Am Ende soll aus den gesammelten Aufnahmen eine umfangreiche Video-Installation entstehen. Wir (Lisa Spalt und Otto Saxinger für das Institut für poetische Alltagsverbesserung) haben bisher Menschen in Linz, Wien, Kassel und Bukarest interviewt. Ab Herbst wird der vorläufige Stand des Projekts – z.B. im Rahmen einer Zukunftskonferenz in Linz – erstmals präsentiert. Ab November werden wir Workshops durchführen, damit andere unsere Arbeit weiterführen können.

Music for All
The main issues that the project wanted to tackle are insufficient cultural cooperation among young people in the Western Balkan region and lack of motivation to get to know culture and society of neighboring countries. Also the project wanted to encourage participants to get to know the musical heritage, culture and history of other nations, to create space for mutual learning and cultural cooperation young people with disabilities from Serbia and young people from Albania through active participation in music workshops and performance. An innovative part of the project is the use of technology to include young people with disabilities in the cultural life of the community and thus encourage them to participate in other aspects of life and overcome social barriers and prejudices.

DIVES: "BURGER" Videospiel + Musikvideo + Single
Wir sind DIVES, eine all-female Band aus Wien. “Burger” heißt nicht nur unsere neueste Single, in der es um Alltagssexismus geht – es ist auch ein branchenübergreifendes Projekt und als Ansage gegen die noch immer vorherrschende Gender-Gap in den multimedialen Künsten zu verstehen: Die Single wird neben einem von der 3D-Animationskünstlerin Sarah Kreuz realisierten Video auch von einem Browser-Game im 80ies-Style begleitet. Entwickelt hat dies Kinaya Studios, ein junges Programmiererinnen-Kollektiv, das letztes Jahr den Games Award gewonnen hat. In dem Spiel kämpfen wir uns auf humorvolle Weise durch diverse Stationen des im Song behandelten Alltagssexismus gegenüber Frauen*, dazu erklingt als eigenes Sound-Design zum 80er-Jahre Games-Stil ein Spezial-8-bit-Remix der Single.
