DE STRUCTURA’S goal is to empower young people in the arts and to provide them with the tools to, on the one hand, be successful in pursuing a meaningful career, and on the other, bringing innovation to an environment daunting for newcomers. Leading the project is a team of young artists and art professionals, who through first- hand experience understand how difficult it usually is to build a meaningful career in the sphere of arts and culture. Youth social graffiti festival

We are a relatively small regional NGO and since 2014 we are working with the youth. Last year our NGO planned and held a 4-day regional youth social graffiti festival “Under the sign of Banksy”. During the festival, we combined contemporary art forms, such as forum theater and the graffiti itself, with lectures on human rights, held by famous Ukrainian lecturers from the Human Rights House in Chernihiv as well as experts in the field of forum theatre. Andriy Yermolenko was invited to act as a mentor for the participants in the process of creating their graffiti. 36 people ages 14 to 21 from all over the Vinnytsia region took part in this festival. We would like to network our experience with the organization of our festival to a national and international levels. Danube Transformation Agency for Agency

DTAFA is an art group “in constant flux”, engaged to transform the relationship with the Danube. What could possible futures look like if we embrace the challenges we might face? What if we stopped trying to escape our misery, but rather decide to “stay with the trouble”? We decided to stay with the Danube! We are mapping the anticipated emergencies that the river might face in the future, producing experimental ‘solutions’: speculative maps, fish friendly swimming classes, underwater radios… Our experimental interactive forecast service “woodiana.today” reports on the status of the Anthropocene and sketches a variety of speculative futures. Come and swim with us at "Novi Sad - European Capital of Culture 2022", if it won't be already too late, and Danube dries up.

BINDEE 🖇

We are the group of young enthusiasts from Ukraine, Norway, Belgium and Italy, who want to create a digital social platform to connect mentors and mentees over their passions and interests. We want to facilitate the opportunity to share one's passion by creating a passion-sharing platform. We noticed that during the lockdown a lot of people suffer from the lack of communication. That’s why we wanted to provide an opportunity for socialising safely. Our project creates a unique platform for collecting experiences, knowledge and passions and sharing it with others. In order to kickstart the platform by 1st of September 2022, we want to find 15 mentors by the 1st of August 2022 to host at least one mentorship programme/session on their passion and interests by the 30th of September 2022. Moonshot Pirates

Zikaron BaSalon

Zikaron BaSalon is a new Israeli initiative commemorating the Holocaust that shifts the responsibility of Holocaust remembrance to every one of us. In the last decade, hundreds of thousands of gatherings took place, simultaneously. Each Zikaron BaSalon is unique but includes testimony from a survivor, an expressive part and a discussion seeking to learn from the history for our future - more than ever before. Unfortunately, the Holocaust is becoming an irrelevant and distant memory especially with the number of survivors declining each day. Zikaron BaSalon initiative brings the memory of the Holocaust into our homes, our hearts, bringing new meaning and inviting our society, from all sectors and all ages, to take an active part and participate in the preservation of the Holocaust for future generations. Zikaron BaSalon allows everyone to join a new Israeli tradition, in which over 1.5 million people take part in 55 countries globally.

Political polarization (intrey)

We at Intrey recognized a problem of political polarization caused by unconsciously viewing political content while scrolling over social media platforms and chose to provide a social media platform that curates content from all sides of the political spectrum and allows you to converse and express your opinions out loud. We believe that the first step in healing our troubled world is to engage in true discourse.

North-South Exchange: Sustainable Development

My name is Crislin Lind and I am 27 years old Estonian. I am a Project Assistant working through Manpower Group in Finland. I have been living in Finland since the beginning of 2018. There are a lot of people in Finland who hold a degree but cannot find a job due to the competitive market. There are so many people in underdeveloped countries, who would appreciate getting the chance to learn the research that we have done in Finland. I want to create a chance for a North-South exchange, where underdeveloped nations learn Sustainable Development from Finland. By spending time learning the research that the degree holders did and together implementing the research in underdeveloped countries, we are one step closer to a more balanced and sustainable world.

Innovation Labs Romania

Innovation Labs is a university-anchored technology-based accelerator program, running its 9th edition this year. Present in 11 of the Romanian top universities (Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Sibiu, and Timișoara), the program has national coverage, and it offers free-of-charge mentorship to young early-stage start-up teams that engage in a journey from creative idea to user-focused prototype and product. The problem we solve, in broad terms, is the low percentage of young tech entrepreneurs in the Romanian start-up ecosystem. Our solution is a novel grassroots approach: we recruit students with good technical skills and train them in teamwork, product development and pitching to investors. Tens of our alumni teams currently operate as successful businesses in Romania and internationally.

Trash Rage

We are Giant Lazer - Polish VR/AR developer studio specialized in educational applications. Our own project - Trash Rage was created as a response to a problem of waste overflow in terms of recycling. The project started as an arcade VR game for HTC Vive dedicated to young curious minds. It allows users to visit the post-apocalyptic Earth, polluted and ruled by evil machines. As time has passed, we understood that the issue needs much more inclusive coverage. That’s why we are now working on the mobile AR game - the continuation and much deeper representation of modern ecological issues. Trash Rage AR covers the problem of waste overflow in the oceans, as well as wildlife endangerment represented by the sea turtles. We believe that through AR, we can educate people about this issue.

Greenish

Greenish is an Egyptian social enterprise that aims to achieve sustainable development through interactive educational activities, environmental assessment services, and provide support to local communities vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change. We have worked on establishing 26 environmental clubs around 10 governates in Egypt. Empowering 1100 students to start their own project to address their communities's most pressing environmental challenges. We have also managed to establish the first Arabic environmental manuals to address biodiverscity, clean energy, waste management, food water and arigculture.
